| Love Is A Sin; Chapter One: Just The Beginning *3 years ago* Scene shows a boy sitting alone in a courtyard. The sakura trees are in bloom and a slight breeze causes some petals to lightly fall over the boy. He looks around and from what we can see; he's a boy of about fourteen with naturally curly, brown hair and large, brown eyes. He hears the sound of footsteps approaching behind him and turns around. Standing before him is another boy with straight, blond hair and sky-blue eyes. "Hey Alex. What are you doing out here by yourself," asks the blond-haired boy. Alex shrugs and mutters something about escaping the teasing he had endured all day. The boy sits down next to Alex and comments on how beautiful the sakura trees are this time of year. Alex looked up at the boy and asks why he's been hiding something from him. "Leo, I know you didn't come over here just to chat. What's been going on with you lately? You've been acting strange ever since a week ago. Is something wrong," asked Alex with concern. Leo looked at him with love in his eyes, but didn't answer. Alex's eyes narrowed in frustration at his friend's silence. "Leo please, tell me what is wrong. Maybe I can help," offered Alex in an almost pleading voice. "The only way you can help, Alex, is by not seeing me anymore," Leo said abruptly in response. Alex looked at him, dazed. "What?!" "It would be better if you stayed away from me," Leo repeated with more calm than before. Alex stared at him in disbelief. What was he talking about? They had been together for about 6 months and Leo's parents approved of their "relationship". Alex's folks, however, didn't exactly know about it. Well, his mom knew, but he had been careful about keeping it secret from his dad. Maybe his dad had found out and was trying to break them up. "Leo if it's about my dad. Don't worry about it; I can handle my old man. "It's not like that. This is the last thing I want to happen, but...,"Leo hesitated as if he was unsure of how to explain it. After a while he took a deep breath. "Alex, you're the most important person in my life. I love you and don't want anything to happen to you." "I-I know that, Leo. I love you too. But wha-what do you mean by...?" Leo smiled and kissed Alex on the lips. Alex pulled Leo closer to him and wrapped his arms around Leo. They pulled away briefly, but were still locked in each other's arms. Suddenly there was a noise that sounded like a gunshot. Leo pushed Alex down, taking the bullet that was headed straight for Alex. Alex looked up to see Leo down on his knees, clutching his arm in pain. Blood dripped freely from the wound gouged by the bullet. A boy approached Leo and held his revolver to Leo's forehead. Alex couldn't see any part of his face, except for the eyes. They were the most vivid, dark, violet color he had ever seen. Alex watched helplessly as the boy put his fingers over the trigger and started to pull it back. Alex jumped up and tried to tackle him, but he just pushed Alex off him. Before he pulled the trigger he looked at Alex and said: "Let this be a lesson to you. Half-assed girlie boy!" An ear deafening shot rang out and echoed throughout the entire area. Alex saw Leo collapse slowly to the ground, as if time seemed to slow down. The killer blew on the barrel of his smoking revolver and turned to leave. Alex crawled over to Leo and felt for a pulse. There was none, he was dead. Alex was frozen in shock as he held Leo in his arms. The violet-eyed boy looked down at him with cold, unfeeling eyes. "It's nothin' personal boya. Just doin' my job. But sorry I had to pop off your 'boyfriend' there," he said in a very detached tone of voice. He didn't sound like he regretted the deed at all. Alex glared at him and asked who had sent him to do this. "Who you ask? You already know who," he answered with a smirk. Alex looked down at the lifeless Leo he held in his arms, but when he glanced up at the killer, they had vanished into thin air. Tears streamed down Alex’s cheeks at uncontrollable rate. In the distance he could hear the wailing siren of an ambulance. The very sound gave him false hope that Leo might still be alive somehow. “Alex!” He could faintly hear someone calling his name. After every second it seemed to grow louder. “Alex!!” “Alex!!!” ALEX!!!” Alex couldn’t see who was calling him, but they were trying to bring him back to reality. Which was weird because this was reality, wasn’t it? “Wake up girlie-boy!!!” Alex’s eyes snapped open to reveal that he wasn’t in a courtyard holding Leo’s dead body. He was at his desk in the classroom, and, had apparently been sleeping. “Jeez man, you sleep like a rock! A bomb could go off and you wouldn’t wake up. I mean you’re even worse than Kei… Dude, are you crying?!” Alex rubbed his hands over his eyes and saw that he had indeed been crying. “You are, aren’t you? C’mon, you’re really acting like a girl right now,” said a boy with light-brown hair and emerald-green eyes. The hair was dyed a bright red at the tips. Alex swiped at the still flowing tears in an attempt to stop them. “This is just great, as if that trip down memory lane wasn’t bad enough, I end up crying in front of Tsukasu,” Alex thought as he hung his head in shame. “Tsukasu, would you leave him alone. Can’t you see that he’s really upset,” said another boy with spiked, red hair and deep blue eyes with a hint of green around the edges./ “Kei, the only straight guy who doesn’t treat me like a freak,” Alex thought with a smile. Kei had been there for Alex after Leo’s death. You know, helped him cope with the grief and anger that follows the loss of a loved one. Kei had known Alex the longest and was his closest friend. Whenever Alex was in trouble he would always go to Kei for advice. “Kei, are you sure that you’re straight? Cause the way you always jump in and defend Alex sounds like a lot more than just friendship,” stated Tsukasu eyeing Kei questioningly. Kei sighed and shook his head. Tsukasu could be so immature sometimes that it was unbelievable. “If he was Tsukasu, don’t you think I would already have him,” Alex said in response to Tsukasu’s ridiculous remark. Tsukasu smirked and mentioned how Alex would really like it if Kei was gay. Alex felt the heat rising to his cheeks before he could stop it. “Tsukasu! Would you just drop it already,” Alex said, his voice pitched higher due to nerves. Tsukasu burst out laughing because Alex sounded so much like a girl. “Dude… Pfft ha ha ha… if it weren’t for that thing hanging between your legs, you really would be a girl! Ha Ha Ha Ha HA!!!” Bam, Alex slammed his head against the desk because that was the undeniable truth. Kei tried in vain to cheer him up. “It’s okay, I mean… Uh… you’re still a boy and you always will be even if you look like a girl. You’re a boy who looks like a girl, but is really a boy and… Well, at least it’s not raining today,” he finally said after several minutes muttering incoherently. Alex peered up at Kei as he suddenly changed the subject and a shadow of pure gloom fell over Alex. “I’ll- I’ll shut up now,” said Kei with gloom spreading over him also. The two areas of gloom combined to form an aura of gloominess. Tsukasu pursed his lips and threw a soccer and Alex and Kei in frustration. “Both of you stop it! Pull it together; we’ve got a big game coming up!!” Alex rubbed his now throbbing head and was about to tell Tsukasu off when he heard a rather timid voice speak up. “Um… excuse me, but is this seat taken?” Alex looked over and saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life. In fact, he actually felt an unfamiliar tugging in his groin. This girl had sexually aroused him, which had never EVER happened. She was of average height and weight with just enough curves to intrigue the mind. She had long, flowing, silver hair and yellow eyes with a reddish hue in them. In other words, bi-color eyes that looked like a radiant sunset. Alex blinked away his temporary moment of being straight and looked over at Kei and Tsukasu. Kei’s eyes had an astounded look in them, like he was seeing an angelic being from the heavens. He seemed to see nothing else except her. Even after Alex elbowed him in the ribs three times, his eyes never looked away from her. Before Alex could tell Kei to snap out of it, an ominous shadow fell over him from behind. He felt an icy cold wind that seemed to blow into the room. Alex slowly turned around and saw a boy that looked almost exactly like the girl Kei had become infatuated with. “Uh… Kei, Kei,” Alex said, tapping Kei repeatedly on the shoulder. When that failed, he looked back at the boy and saw that he was gone. “Where’d he go? I could’ve sworn he was right there. How did he… Aaaaaaah,” Alex cried out as someone blew lightly in his ear. If his “aroused” scale went from one to ten, the girl would be a seven and whoever had blown in his ear was a ten. “Tell your ‘friend’ that if he wants to live another day, to stop gawking at my sister,” said a velvety-soft, yet threatening voice to Alex. Hearing this, he felt a mixture of embarrassment and fear. This voice sounded rather cold and, Alex guessed, had been the one blowing in his ear. Though all of this was happening around her, the girl didn’t seem to notice any of it. “Oh! Aura, there you are,” she said to the boy behind Alex. Aura smiled when she came over to him. When Alex glanced behind him, Aura glared fiercely at him. “Aura, don’t glare at him. I’m sorry but my brother is a little too protective of me.” “I noticed. Uh… what did you say your name was,” Alex asked while avoiding Aura’s gaze. “Oh, I didn’t. It’s Rae, Rae Netsuke and this is my brother Aura,” she answered with a friendly, non-threatening smile. Netsuke was a name anyone would recognize. They were currently the wealthiest family in all Japan; with the Alex’s family (the Aiyashi’s) at a very close second. They also owned the best dojo, and were known for mastering many forms of martial arts, not people to mess with. This Aura person was someone to avoid, yet why did he fascinate Alex so. It must be the eyes, which at first seem very cold, but actually hold a deep hidden sadness. Alex didn’t realize that he had been staring until Tsukasu snapped him and Kei out of it. “You two are too much alike. Kei, go ask Rae-chan out and Alex, you do the same with Aura,” Tsukasu said pointing at them. Before Alex or Kei could answer, their teacher called for attention and class had begun. What Tsukasu had said to Alex kept bothering him the whole hour. He didn’t want to get involved in another relationship, in case it ended badly like the last one. Aura, who sat behind Alex, was watching him like a predator observes its prey before attacking. Aura wondered why Alex’s own “father” wanted him dead. Well, he wasn’t what you’d call normal looking for a boy of seventeen. He had more feminine than masculine features, like he was a boy that came out wrong. Yet something about him seemed to intrigue Aura, in a way that would complicate his assignment. Aura decided to ponder it more later on. For now, Aura had to stay focused and not be distracted by such trivial matters. After what seemed like forever for the three friends, the bell rang for their next class. Everyone shuffled out the door with Alex and Kei both avoiding the Netsukes. “Hey, did you hear what happened when someone tried to hit on Netsuke-chan?” “Yeah, they say the guy is still in the hospital on life support! Apparently her brother tried to strangle him with a steel bar! And.. Word is that he was laughing as the guy suffocated!!” “We so should push ‘girlie boy’ onto Netsuke-chan, just to see her brother’s reaction,” said a bunch of random kids in the hall. One of them came up behind Alex and shoved him into Rae. When they collided Alex ended up on top of Rae, just an inch from her face. Rae’s face turned bright red and she tried to get back up. “No, wait Rae-chan, you’re right under m… mmph,” Alex started to say until Rae’s lips met his. Now, it was Alex’s turn to blush bright red. As predicted, Aura yanked Alex off of Rae and held him by his collar. Kei watched in horror as Alex dangled helplessly in front of Aura. It was clear as crystal that Aura was going to kill Alex. Alex squeezed his eyes shut, waiting to be mercilessly pummeled. But Aura didn’t try to beat him; instead he did something completely unexpected. Alex didn’t know what was happening until Aura’s mouth came down on top of his. His pupils dilated and his vision became blurry. The kiss was so intense that Alex thought Aura would strip him and do him right at that moment. After what felt like hours maybe days, Aura pulled away and gently set Alex back down onto the floor. As the bell rang to signal the next class, Aura leaned down and whispered in Alex’s ear: “Now you’re all mine, Alex-chan,” before heading to class. For a total of five minutes, Alex just stood there in a daze. Once he realized what had happened, his cheeks turned a bright crimson as the final bell rang to signal tardiness for those who weren’t already in class. Alex walked into the classroom, ten minutes late, still in a daze and sat down. He couldn’t believe what had just happened: “Why did Aura do that? I thought that he hated me,” Alex asked himself over and over again. He decided to puzzled this out later, with Kei, after school. *End of Chapter One^^* |

*The story*
A cold breeze swept through the dark night that was illuminated only by the three moons in the sky and the billions of stars that were scattered across the dark blanket in the sky. A chilling howl echoed in the dark night and chimed in the ears of all who heard it far and wide. That was the signal. The signal for a gathering at that place . which was called the Demon Academy.
The Demon Academy was a special and hidden school designed to train, develop, discipline, advise, and encourage the young demons that enter its gates. Every each and every year, the sc

Demon Academy- Chapter 2Chapter 2- The Rival...Demon Academy- Chapter 2
Mei quickly scampered away from the room where the boy was in with her face still flushed red. Mei stopped her advance when she turned a corner leading to some flight of stairs up and down. Slightly leaning on the wall, she patted her face to calm herself down from excessively blushing. Her crimson hair weighed heavily to her now than it had any other time and her crystal blue eyes even slightly sparkled.
"That was odd... I've never lost my cool before..." Mei said before a thought of identifying the boy came to her head and she made her way towards the reception counter where the twins were w
